A Step Beyond the Veil and Into the Magic
Before the festivities begin, check in and let the call of the enchanted forest draw you in. The gentle melodies of our fae harpist will guide your way to the veil. As you cross into the Enchanted Forest Ballroom, you’ll be transported to a world of wonder—where forest-inspired fare and fae-crafted sips await. Dine beneath the twinkling canopy and enjoy a three-course meal in the company of your fellow fae.
When your meal concludes, the night unfolds around you. Capture memories at our whimsical photo booths, browse our curated collection of magical vendors and authors, and wander through the forested halls soaking in the enchantment.
As twilight deepens, the DJ will awaken the dance floor with lively tunes to keep your wings fluttering and your feet moving. Midway through the evening, join in—or cheer on—the dazzling Best Dressed Contest, celebrating the creativity and splendor of fae fashion.
Then, as midnight nears, prepare for a fiery delight: our live flaming decadent dessert, a spectacle worthy of the fae courts themselves. Throughout the night, sip, dance, and revel in the magic—this is your time to live out your fae dreams beneath the glow of the Enchanted Forest.

Our events are truly elevated experiences where elegance meets enchantment. Guests are required to arrive in formal or black-tie attire to fully embrace the magic of the evening. Cosplay that allies with the events theme is always welcome as well.

Yes. To preserve the atmosphere of our exclusive event, all attendees must be 18 years or older on the day of the event.
Please note that staff may request ID verification and deny entry to anyone under 18. -
Although there is a parking garage connected to the venue, please note that this and all nearby parking options are paid parking. Guests are responsible for locating and paying for their own parking. Additionally, the interior door connecting the venue to the garage will be locked to guests. Please use the front entrance of the building for entry.

A Little About The Bookworm Ball, LLC…
Hello! My name is Lindsey, and I’m the creator and driving force behind The Bookworm Ball events. The idea for The Bookworm Ball, LLC, was born during my freshman year at Ball State University. Like many 19-year-olds, I found myself sitting in my dorm room, contemplating what I wanted to do with my life. After an hour of doom scrolling on BookTok (as one does), inspiration struck, and The Bookworm Ball was hatched!
I started this business with a vision: to build a community for myself and others, especially in modern-day Indiana, where connecting with fellow fantasy and book lovers can feel like a challenge. My goal was to create a space and event that would be inspiring, magical, and fun for everyone.
Fast forward four years, and what began as a daydream has turned into a fantastical reality. With three successful events under my belt and another on the horizon, The Bookworm Ball has grown into a celebration of all things bookish and whimsical. I’m thrilled to bring fantasy-inspired events to Indianapolis and look forward to continuing this journey for many years to come!
